Pudelpointers are versatile hunting dog breed from Germany. This breed came from a cross between the English Pointer and the German hunting poodle (pudel). They are an excellent hunting dog with a keen sense of smell, searching skills, a talent for retrieving, and pointing instinct in the field and water. They are energetic and determined hunters. This breed stands between 22-25 inches tall and weighs between 45-70 pounds. They will have either liver, chestnut, or black color fur. This breed of dog sheds very little. Pudelpointers are friendly, active, adventurous, even-tempered and have extreme intelligence. They will have no problems living in a home with other pets and children.
